Group taster session;
Any age group. Suitable for uniformed, faith or community groups. 2 hours early evening, weekend or school holidays. £10 per person.
Survival training for 14-17 year olds; Half day session on a rolling programme, learning all the basic skills of survival and bushcraft. Based on the 5 C's. (Combustion, cover, container, cutting and cordage) you will become proficient in outdoor living and get the mind-set of a bushcrafter. Fire building and lighting, shelter construction,, water purification, navigation foraging and tracking, cooking. Advice on buying equipment. With the option of an overnight camp to consolidate all you have learned. Sessions are £15, overnight camp £80. Equipment provided. Parental approval required.
Bushcraft Bootcamp; a set of courses we are planning to run throughout the school holidays and is aimed at Children aged between 7 and 13 years. The course includes Bushcraft Skills, Primitive arts, crafts games and competitions and is perfect for getting kids active and enjoying the great outdoors! It is based in Oakworth, West Yorkshire. Norse Bush-Lore; We are in the process of putting together a new course specifically aimed at adults who wish to explore Outdoor living skills within a Dark age context in conjunction with the Woodland Mythology and Folklore of the Vikings. Ultimate survival weekend;
24 hours to learn everything you need to know to get you started in bushcraft and survival. You don’t need any previous knowledge of bushcraft but you do need to be reasonably fit and ready for a crash course in outdoor survival. Details available on request. Course includes animal carcass preparation for food (participation not compulsory)
